I’ve been waiting for this season since around Spring when the Mahou Tsukai no Yome anime adaptation was announced. A lot of my most anticipated anime premiered this season and none of them failed to deliver! I think in the past couple of years, Fall has taken all the good animes. And so without further ado, here’s my first impressions for my Fall 2017 anime picks…
Did you know that I had this post ready around the 4 week mark of the Summer season? I couldn’t figure out how to watch Saiyuki Reload BLAST (and I still don’t!) so I kept putting off posting this. Ah well… Better late than never I guess. There wasn’t very many that I liked for the Summer season. This was probably my lowest count yet. It was more like something to keep me going until the Fall season. In saying that, the ones that I did pick out and watched were quite good! Anywho, here was my pick for the Summer 2017 season.
So I’ve steadily been working on my Japan vlogs over on my travel blog these past few weeks. I’m blaming that for the lateness of my Summer 2017 anime first impressions. Anywho, I’m sharing with you guys my anime day in Japan while I go work on watching the current anime season. If you guys want to check out the rest of my Japan vlogs, please check my youtube channel, Sakura and Alfafa. Vlogs are uploaded every Sunday 🙂
P.S. I also have a Japan haul video but that won’t come until after I caught up with my vlog backlog. So stay tuned!
Technically, not much happened in this chapter. We’re still building up to that one big fight but the enemy has completely changed as of two chapters ago.
Gah! I saw this coming! I totally saw this coming! I think it was about two or three years ago, during the werewolf arc, that I first speculated that there was another Ciel.
These two! They definitely fit under #relationshipgoals. I just love seeing how their relationship progress and without the usual high school drama. This is romance slice of life at its best!
Man this girl’s badassery has done nothing but level up since chapter one! From that spoiled, pampered princess to this dignified, badass warrior princess, Yona has come a loooooong way! No wonder Kye-sook almost didn’t recognise her. Speaking of Kye-sook, I’m 80 percent sure that he’s got a big hand on Soo-won turning against King Il. I never liked him from the first moment I saw him.
I’ve always admired how much effort Kyoko puts into preparing for her characters. Of course the other Momiji candidates would say start calling foul play but I doubt any of them actually prepared for the audition as much as Kyoko did.
I’m just gonna drop this here and hope that no one notices that I’m about six weeks behind. This season’s anime line up is quite promising! I also found that the EDs are better than the OPs. Spring is usually the season where the OPs are totally epic but it’s the other way this year. Anywho, I’ve posted this late enough, so I’ll keep it short. Here’s my spring 2017 anime first impressions.
